"Home" Documentary
“Home” Documentary shown March 25
At 7 p.m. March 25th, the documentary “Home” will be shown at Napa Valley College in room 838. It shows the diversity of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the ecological balance of the planet. It’s been seen by over 400 million people around the world, been translated into 40 different languages and was screened at the UN in 2009 where 90% of the member representatives saw it. It’s a beautiful film by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, the founder of GoodPlanet.org, and a trailer can be viewed at the official website http://www.homethemovie.org/
Professor Kelli Mulligan, who teaches a class on Energy, the Environment and Sustainability at Napa Valley College, will speak to the public after the showing as well as present an introduction to the international event Earth Hour that is happening the following evening. This event is free and open to the public.
