Golden State Choral Competition

Last year's Large Choir Division winners, Napa High School, will host this year's Golden State Choral Competition at Pacific Union College on Tuesday, 5/17.

This invitation-only competition brings the top NorCal high school choirs together for what can only be called the most impressive showcase of choral talent in Northern California.

The Small Choir Competition begins at 1pm (Napa's Chamber Choir will compete at 4:50pm) in Paulin Hall, and the Large Choir Division starts at 2:10pm in the PUC Church Sanctuary.

As reigning champs, Napa's Concert Choir may not compete, but will perform at the evening's Concert and Awards Ceremony. The concert begins at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary, home to a spectacular Rieger pipe organ. The top 5 choirs in each division will also perform.

The competition and concert are free of charge and open to the public. All are encouraged to support Napa High's Choirs by attending any or all of this musical banquet that Napa High Choir Director, Travis Rogers, calls the "Choir Super Bowl."
