Garage Band 101 at Napa City Nights
Pull up a beach chair and take a musical journey through time from the roots of rock 'n' roll to today's chart-toppers.
Napa School of Music's summer Garage Band 101 workshop presents an exploration of rock music from Elvis to Adele, the Beatles to Nirvana, covering every style and genre of music that have helped define the music that we call Rock.
Seven bands with students ages 8-adult have rehearsed together for 11 weeks, and will take the stage to play rock music from the '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and this millennium.
Pop, metal, funk, grunge, disco, power ballads and classic rock old and new - you name it, you'll hear it!
Music begins at 6pm; bring a picnic and enjoy dinner and music under the stars. Part of the Napa City Nights summer series of Friday night music in the park, this concert is FREE!
