The musicians of the Napa Valley Symphony would like to invite our community in the Napa Valley and beyond to join us in a free performance on September 2, 2012. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., with a pre-concert performance by the American Canyon HS Jazz ensemble beginning at 6:30. This is a thank you concert to all who have supported the orchestra over the 79 years it has been in operation and an introduction to those who are not yet familiar with our orchestra. All the musicians and conductors are donating their time and talent for this event as they ask for your support in keeping the culture of the Napa Valley rich, diverse and at the world class level such a premium locale deserves.

The concert is free and open to the public. We will be accepting donations and looking for support for a new orchestra in the Napa Valley. All the musicians involved in this performance, including the conductors and support staff, are donating their time and skills to launch this effort. The musicians know that with proper planning, management and community involvement, we can revive the 79 year tradition of great symphonic music in the Napa Valley.
