Free, Fun Activities at Public Health

April 4-10, 2011 is National Public Health Week!
The Napa County Public Health Division will host the Second Annual Open House featuring free, family-friendly activities that in addition to being super fun will help visitors learn about small steps they can take every day to stay healthy.

There is no cost for any of the activities which include:

  • Car seat demonstrations and fittings
  • Public Health’s vegetable garden tours
  • Story time in English and Spanish
  • “WHACK the Flu” video screenings
  • Glow-in-the-dark hand washing activity for kids and adults
  • Seasonal flu vaccine is available for anyone over 6 months old
  • Whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine for anyone over 7 years old
  • Healthy prizes for all ages
