Exhibition of the Rennison Civil War Historical Collection

April marks the 157th anniversary of the death of Abraham Lincoln and the end of the Civil War.

Doug and Jane Rennison, of Napa,  have re-created the history of both their Union and Confederate family, in period framed memory boxes. The collection contains photographs, documents, flags, certificates, maps and frames, all simulating actual wartime memorabilia. The Rennisons and Fastframe owner, Fred Cooper, have researched and assembled these collections over the past 20 years.

Napa Valley Fastframe will exhibit the collections from April 5-17. A special event is planned for Saturday, April 14 for the public to meet the Rennisons and discuss Civil War history and the search for Civil War ancestry.
