A Touch of Brass!

The Pacific Chamber Symphony, under the direction of Lawrence Kohl, presents A Touch of Brass! Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 8:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Napa 1333 Third Street, in Napa, featuring some of the world’s most spirited music offered at very special ticket prices.  This historic symphonic tour includes the great antiphonal works of Gabrieli, the powerful drama of Wagner, the universal appeal of Copland and the beloved, foot-tapping march of Sousa.

Since 1989, the Pacific Chamber Symphony blends chamber music’s intimate clarity with instrumental variety and symphonic power.  Their season consists of three to five concert sets with performances in San Francisco, Napa, Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Pacific Chamber Symphony has been honored to perform for significant occasions such as the United Nations’ 60th Anniversary World Concert Celebration held at Grace Cathedral in 2005.
