Maybe you aren't as Irish as St. Patrick himself (who was kidnapped and sent to Ireland as a slave, escaped in 409 and returned to Ireland in 432, believing he had been called upon to spread the word of God) but on March 17, everyone's a little Irish.
So, check out these local St. Patrick's Day events and celebrations.
-Sunday, March 17, Downtown Napa St. Patrick's Day Block Party between Downtown Joe's and Bounty Hunter Wine Bar, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., three bands.
--Sunday, March 17, St. Helena, 12 to 5 p.m.
--Sunday, March 17, St. Patrick's Day Dance with Les Amis Zydeco, 6 p.m. Penngrove Pub, Penngrove. (Not really Napa Valley but close enough).
--Sunday, March 17, St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Suppertime, 3 to 7 p.m. corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips or veggie or chicken pies for pick-up or delivery, live music and sing-along by John Kelly and the Savage family.
