Auditions Set Aug. 5-6 for "A Christmas Carol" at NVC

Napa Valley College Performing Arts setting up cast for December show.

 Napa Valley Conservatory Theater will hold auditions Aug. 5 and 6 for "A Christmas Carol," a show to be performed at Napa Valley College Dec.6-15.

Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m, in the Performing Arts Center Main Theater at Napa Valley College.

Auditions are open to the public and no appointment is necessary.  Performers should be prepared to sing 16 bars of any song.

Bring sheet music –- no recordings; an accompanist will be provided. Performers will be seen in the order they arrive.  Please wear clothes you can move in.

A Christmas Carol is
adapted by Jonathan Moscone (Artistic Director of the California Shakespeare Theater) and Preston Lane (Artistic Director of Triad Stage in Greensboro, NC), directed by Jennifer King, musical direction by Dr. Eve-Anne Wilkes, and choreography by Pam Rogers

The show will be presented in association with Music Napa Valley, of Napa Valley College’s music department, will hold auditions for A Christmas Carol  

First published in its original text by Charles Dickens in 1843, this adaptation of A Christmas Carol is an innovative rendition of the all time classic, and will be performed on the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center Main Stage.
