Another Day, Another Scam

It's Thursday in Napa; here's what we know so far.

  1. Napa businesses received two warnings from the this week. One is a , and the other cautions business owners that neither the Chamber nor the city has endorsed a new “2011 City of Napa Area Magnetized Information Guide” which is being pitched by emails beginning “Dear Napa Business Member.”

  4.  If you prefer French film to live music, tonight’s “Talk Cinema” offering at the is “Potiche.” Starring Catherine Deneuve, Gérard Depardieu and Fabrice Luchini, it was an official 2010 selection for both the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. Whatever you do this Thursday, be prepared for a dash of rain today and some colder temperatures by dawn: The National Weather Service issued a "hazardous weather outlook" early this morning warning that “temperatures tonight will drop into the 30s.” Wait – wasn’t it just a week ago that we had a record-breaking 86 degrees? Ah, Spring.
