Uptown Theatre re-opened in May 2010 after a 10-year renovation and is now hosting some of the biggest names in entertainment.

The iconic Uptown Theater began in the Golden Era of Hollywood Premier, opening in August 1937 complete with searchlights, banners and movie stars.

Stars such as Clark Gable and Carol Lombard used to frequent the theater as a part of their Northern California excursions.

Although the theatre changed hands many times over the years and saw transformations that included a 4 screen movie theatre, it wasn’t until the year 2000 that George Altamura and partners took ownership of the Uptown and thus begun the massive renovation project to turn the old movie theater into a live music venue and to recapture the glory and grandeur of an earlier era.

Tickets to all the May shows are still available, and can be purchased here on Ticketmaster. But take note, the Fab Four show is nearly sold out with only a handful of single seats remaining.
