The Marin California Highway Patrol tweeted Monday night’s Amber Alert was the first time one was pushed. 

The Amber Alert smartphone push notification has caused quite the discussion. 
Did you get the alert on your iPhone? Did the alarm really get your attention? Were you asleep when the alarm sounded?
