A free Senior Scam Stopper seminar is scheduled Monday -- April 14 -- from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Napa Senior Center, hosted by Assemblymember Mariko Yamada (D-Davis) and the California Contractors State License Board.
This is a great resource for seniors and their family members with information on how to prevent becoming victims of fraud from a panel of financial and fraud experts.
Attendees can get answers to their questions and obtain in-person assistance if they have already been scammed.
This event is open to the public at the senior center at 1500 Jefferson St. in Napa. To RSVP or for more information, contact Yamada’s American Canyon District Office at (707)552-4405.
