Reminder: 'Anything with a Cord' E-Waste Recycling Event Is Saturday

From the City of Napa: 

The City of Napa partners with Napa Recycling & Waste Services  and Napa Valley College to hold the 14th annual recycling event for electronic waste on Saturday -- June 14 -- from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Napa Valley College parking lot next to the soccer field. 

This event offers the opportunity to recycle “Anything with a Cord,” including electronics such as computer equipment, televisions and cell phones; metal appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens and water heaters; and smaller kitchen and household appliances such as vacuums, blenders, microwaves and table fans. 

All e-waste and appliances are accepted in any amount free of charge.

Smoke detectors and hazardous or toxic wastes, such as paints, solvents and oils will not be accepted at this event. 

While this event offers a convenient opportunity to drop off anything with a cord, the City of Napa’s Recycling and Composting Facility accepts e-waste and appliances free year round at its facility located at 820 Levitin Way (off Highway 29 and Tower Road in American Canyon.)

The facility is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
