Napa Announces 26th Annual Academy Awards Party as Oscar Nominees Revealed

Telecast Party is Sunday, March 2 at 5 p.m., at 500 1st St., Napa.

Napa Valley Academy Awards Telecast Viewing Party organizers today announced plans for this year's event -- just as Academy officials today also announced Oscar nominees.

The films "American Hustle" and "12 Years a Slave" were among the list in the 86th Annual Academy Awards nominations.

The Napa Valley will present the 26th Annual Salute to the Silver Screen at the 26th Napa Valley Academy Awards® Telecast Viewing Party on Sunday, March 2, beginning at 5 p.m. at 500 First St. (formerly Copia), Napa.

The Napa Valley Academy Awards® Telecast Viewing Party raises funds for the CARE Network at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, supporting those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other chronic diseases.

Over 20 of the valley's finest restaurants, including Auberge du Soleil, Carpe Diem, Morimoto Napa, Lulu's Kitchen at 1313 Main, Tarla, and Napkins Bar & Grill will be providing tasty treats paired with current release and library wines from many of the Napa Valley’s renowned wineries, such as Domain Chandon, Pine Ridge, Raymond, Rutherford Ranch, and Reynolds Family.

Featuring celebrity emcee and host Bob Sarlatte, the 26th annual event includes silent & live auctions, drawings for prizes, dancing to Bay Area favorite DJ Rotten Robbie, along with the glamour of the awards, making this viewing of the Oscar® telecast the best in the Napa Valley and Bay Area.

Tickets start at $125 per person, with VIP tickets available at $200, or $850 for a reserved table of six. All tickets include food & wine, viewing of the Oscar® Telecast and silent & live auctions. VIP tickets also include viewing of the event in VIP fashion with seated, table service in the dedicated VIP lounge. VIP tables also include a magnum of Napa Valley wine and table signage.
