Coastal Cleanup on Saturday Includes Napa Waterways

Coastal Cleanup Day is Saturday, Sept. 21.

Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people gather at sites all over California to take part in the State's largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day.

In Napa County, you can help to clean in the Napa River, Salvador Creek, American Canyon, Lake Berryessa and in Calistoga.

Last year, more than 65,000 volunteers removed almost 770,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from California's beaches, lakes, and waterways.
