Car Lovers Turn Out For Skip Long Annual Car Show (PHOTOS)

A golf course doesn't seem like the ideal location for gas-powered classic cars, but that didn't seem to matter to the car lovers who gathered at the Vintner's Golf Club in Yountville for the annual Skip Long Classic Car show.

Car enthusiasts from all over the valley gathered to take in the classic muscle cars, cruisers and show cars that Skip Long himself would have cherished.

Long was a local car lover who first began dabbling in the world of classic cars at the age of 16 when he received a 1932 Ford Coupe. With a bit of time, elbow grease and patience, Long was able to restore the vehicle to show quality.

Long died about 28 years ago during a fishing accident along the Sacramento River. Ever since then, his friends and family have come together to honor Long as he would have liked to have been honored.
