3.7 Earthquake Near Yountville Reported at 9:04 p.m.

A shallow magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported Thursday evening five miles from Yountville, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor occurred at 9:04 p.m. at a depth of 4.3 miles, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was nine miles from Napa, 14 miles from Sonoma, 15 miles from Vacaville and 42 miles from Sacramento, the article stated.
