Vintage High's Haley Kastner wins Americanism essay contest

Vintage High School student Haley Kastner has been selected as the winner in an essay on Americanism. Each year the Napa Valley Republican Women Federated sponsors an essay contest for local youth. There is a contest in the fall for students in eighth grade, and in the spring for 11th graders. It is open to all students, and entrants are encouraged to incorporate the essay contest with the learning of both history and writing ability. The topic for the 11th grade this year was on Ronald Reagan, and Haley titled her paper " Ronald Reagan- The Leader Of Our Lifetime" Haley received $200 for her achievement.
