Preserve Napa- Stop Justin Siena's Plans for Big Box Stores!

It's official, Justin Siena has filed plans with the City of Napa to build a massive 78,000 square foot shopping center on Solano Avenue/Trower Avenue. Their plans call for constructing two big box stores including a huge hardware store (even though a Lowe's is only a few miles or less away) and a Sprouts grocery store (even though there are already at least 6 full service grocery stores within a mile or two of the school). This high traffic generating project is right next to a large residential neighborhood. There is no way that neighbors near the school should or could have foreseen when buying their homes that the school would agree to let an out of town developer tear up their sports fields to make way for a huge commercial development- the land is zoned quasi-public and was not intended for commercial use! The traffic nightmare and public safety concerns this project will bring to our neighborhood and Napa are very real. So please join with neighbors, residents and merchants by signing our petition to let the Napa City Council no that we deserve and want a better plan from Justin Siena- one that respects the residential character of the neighborhood.
