Beginning Monday, July 15, the Pearl Street parking garage in downtown Napa will be closed for renovation. It will remain out of service until mid to late August. The contractor will then move on to the Clay Street garage, which will close for three to four weeks while the work takes place.
Renovation of these garages began with removal of vines and old wooden trellis, opening up views into the garage and letting in more natural light. The second phase of the project will begin with a cleaning process followed by primer and two coats of paint using colors similar to the Fifth Street parking garage. As a final step, City crews will restripe the parking stalls and update signage.
