Runners, Walkers, Even a Hula-Hooper Sign Up for Napa 6K

The Napa River Rock & Stroll returns Saturday with a timed run for the serious athletes and lots of fun for the rest of us. There's still time to sign up and you can even form a team with friends, family and co-workers.

All kinds of people take part in the Napa River Rock & Stroll, the annual 6k fun run that's open to everyone from serious runners to stroller-pushing families.

The run is professionally timed, which helps attract participants like veteran runner Hank Fragoza, 82, who's returning for his second year after clocking in at 37 minutes in 2011.

But plenty of others hit the Napa River Trail just for fun and to help raise funds for Cope Family Center, which works to end child abuse in Napa County.
